Elle is the best. She does such a great job with my nails every time. She is a perfectionist which I love— She makes my tips look like my real nails and they last several weeks looking amazing. Also I just showed her a pic of what I wanted for the nail art shown in the pic and she literally made it look BETTER than the pic I showed her!!! I’ve never had a bad experience at carytown nails and spa. I plan on being a regular!
Amy tier 1 perfectionist I’m very picky and as a cosmetologist I usually do my own. My bf wanted to treat me and wow!!! The best nails I’ve had since moving here. The place is also so clean and beautiful with so many choices. Including glowing gel polish colors!! Five stars!! We love Amy.
I waited almost 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seated with someone random I didn’t book with. I originally wanted a design on my dip manicure but decided for time sake I would do one color. Plus the guy was trying to talk me into getting acrylics instead so I took that as he wasn’t very comfortable with using dip.
It took 2 hours, and they up charged me without telling me until check out because my natural nails were too long. I have been getting my nails done for a long time and I have never been charged extra at any salon for “long nails”. Best part, they don’t look that great.
I’m so disappointed, I originally wanted to come here because I saw someone out in public and loved their nails and they recommended this place. I’m sure they’re great for some people just not for me!
First things first: I love this nail salon. I found it a few months before I moved from RVA. I received services there 5 times and miss this place dearly. The atmosphere was friendly, the team works well together, and the artist I went to is extremely talented and exceedingly kind. Carytown Nails and Spa is my favorite nail salon of all the ones I’ve frequented. Thank you for the wonderful experiences!!! I wish those at Carytown Nails and Spa the very best!
Han does such an amazing job, she’s the best, a true artist! I have grown out my nails for over a year now and they don’t break. Compared to a lot of places that do a poor job and they break immediately. Plus, her art skills are next level!
